The Rainbow Maker

This excerpt is from ‘The Rainbow Maker’ book

Cartoon man fixing colorful rainbow machine in workshop, surrounded by gears and pipes.

First to the strawberry patch he went,

Where red berries grew with a wonderful scent.

He placed the strawberries into a jar,

“This lovely red will really shine far.”

Next, he wandered to the pumpkin patch,

There grew big round pumpkins he could snatch.

He scooped the pulp, vibrant and pure,

“Now I have orange, of that I'm sure.”

Next to the sunflower meadow, he made his way,

Where the beautiful flowers brightened the day.

He ground the petals, soft and mellow,

“I believe I have found the perfect yellow.”
