Andy Lamb the Handy Man
This excerpt is from ‘Andy Lamb the Handy Man’ picture book
At work he’d hear of people’s problems and pain,
His tools couldn’t fix these heartaches and strains.
But with a gentle wave of his hand, when no one could see,
He magically solved the problems as quick as can be.
One frosty morning as he worked away,
He heard a burst pipe had cancelled the school play.
Andy strolls past the pipe and with a wave of his hand,
The pipe is sealed, the play back on as planned.
A storm hit the town, and all lights went out,
Putting the annual Christmas market in doubt.
With a wave of his hand, the lights shone so bright,
“A Christmas miracle!” the locals cheered in delight.
